{"id":62,"date":"2023-04-28T10:32:58","date_gmt":"2023-04-28T10:32:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zakra-agency-02.sites.qsandbox.com\/?p=62"},"modified":"2024-02-01T08:22:52","modified_gmt":"2024-02-01T08:22:52","slug":"kkp-increases-exports-to-the-european-union-through-seafood-expo-global-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/seafood.fishermanassociation.or.id\/id\/kkp-increases-exports-to-the-european-union-through-seafood-expo-global-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"KKP increases exports to the European Union through Seafood Expo Global 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"has-vivid-green-cyan-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-696a91349e79a73f182fee61a961473f\">Published | Friday, 28 April 2023 | 10:32 AM<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) is increasing Indonesia&#8217;s fisheries export market to Europe by participating in the Seafood Expo Global (SEG) which will be held in Barcelona, Spain on 25-27 April 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this exhibition, which was attended by more than 77 countries, Indonesia brought superior products such as shrimp, crab, crab, tuna, tilapia, as well as squid, cuttlefish and octopus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SEG, the largest seafood exhibition in the world, is expected to be a momentum for recovery and increasing exports of Indonesian fishery products on the global market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Especially in the European and European Union markets,&#8221; said Director General for Strengthening the Competitiveness of Marine and Fishery Products (PDSPKP) Budi Sulistiyo in a written statement in Jakarta, Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spain is the main hub for the entry of world fishery products into the markets of the European Union and the Mediterranean region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In fact, in the last five years, Spain contributed an average of 18.6 percent of the European Union&#8217;s fishery product imports or a value of 6.14 billion US dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, Marketing Director of the Directorate General of PDSPKP Erwin Dwiyana explained that in the last 5 years, Indonesia&#8217;s average market share in the European Union was 1.1 percent or worth 367 million US dollars out of the average total European Union imports which reached 36.68 billion dollars.
